Congratulations to the u10's Blues for reaching the Cup Final...5 great penalties saw us thru a really tough game...well played boys...And furthur congratulations go to the u10's Yellows who won there mini league and now play in the Final against Bodecia Dynamo's...And whilst im in the mood, id like to say "Well done" to my fellow coaches, Ian and Rory for all they have achieved not only this season, but over the last 3 years...Top blokes...and "Cheers Rick" for all you do for us behind the scenes...another top bloke...All the best...Eelsy

Just want to say how proud the coaches were of the squad today, last week we didnt deserve anything out of the game but this week it was a different story. To loose like that is hard but we showed spirit and character today and deserved much more than we got.Footaball can be very cruel at times and todays game was a great example. Its now about how we respond, chins up, we will be better and stronger for this.........

Well it finaly happened our first defeat of the season, Congratulations to Holland, i have no complaints about the result the best team on the day won.As a team we looked very nervous and anxious.As coaches we chose the formation and it didnt seem to work so I take responsability for that, so pick yourselves up and prepare for another game, we will get it right next sunday..........

Well done to the under 11 Blues today for clinching the league title, and for doing it in style with a 16 goal fest. A special mention to Charlie for reaching the 40 goal mark.Its nothing more than the squad deserves, its great to put Rovers back on top, as its the first time in sixteen years the club has won the under 11 A League.Looking forward to sunday for a massive game with Holland i am sure it will be a thriller.

Well done to our U11’s Blues on becoming League Champions, a fantastic effort across the board and well deserved!!

I would just like to congratulate the U10's blues team on their third successive league win. Well done to ALL our boys and of course ALL 3 coaches as between them, they all put in 100% for the benefit of ALL 3 teams. Also well done to our Yellows on a fantastic first season and to the reds team who look like finishing 3rd. Another great season for Stanway Rovers U10's squad. Bring on 11-a-side!!
