Thanks to all the Players,Committee, Coach's, Managers and parents involved with SRYFC who gave me a memorable send off on Saturday. I have been lucky to be surrounded by like minded people who have put so much hard work in to provide quality football to over 250 players year on year. I am mighty proud of this Club and feel Ive not done bad for a bloke who cant kick a ball straight! No more nostalga, its all about 2010/11 season now and Club entry into the challenging EJ Alliance for U13-U16 as well as the C&DYL preparation teams at U6-U12. Nothing is easy and only hard work and tough decisions made for the right "Club" or "team" reasons will enable you to reach the stated Club mission of feeding quality players through to the Senior Club at U18 & beyond. Big task ahead and I know that Jamie J, Andy P and Mick R will continue to lead the Managers & Coach's in the drive for succes. Thank you for all your kind comments and best Wishes for the future. well done to the u13s blues today winning 3-2 2-0 up 2-2 then geting the winner by playing football not just the physical game,, still the best footballing side by a mile, also congractulations to holland for winning the league im sure they will miss playing quality opposition.

WELL DONE under 12 blues to have achieve the treble, a historic season. And don't you so deserve it! Fantastic group of boys who always work hard, but have bundles of fun whilst doing so. Brilliant achievement for you all and the club as a whole. Big THANK YOU's and admiration must also go out to IAN and RORY as manager and coach. 5 years on and still the most successful team around. To muster up the enthusiasm and energy year after year must be hard, but I am sure it goes without saying all the parents and boys will agree with me, "THANK YOU".

well done to all the u13s in what was a great cup final leading 2-0 5 minutes before half time then broomfield striking back 3 times 2-3 to broomfield at half time charlie unable to continue in the second half .then coming back to win 4-3 in the last minute with a penalty from billy for a hatrick absolutely brilliant well done to all at u13s blues another great season .

i would just like to say well done to jack johnson on achieveing over a 100 goals for stanway in under 3 seasons (even after having 7 taken off after a team pulled out of the league) and over 200 in less than 6 seasons of playing.also well done to the all the stanway teams throughout all ages who are achieving well,lastly,well done to both u7 teams for putting up a good level of football even at this young age keep up the good work. proud dad and coach
