A valiant effort by all the yellows. Early chances were almost converted, and if they were it could have been a completely different game.

Each team battled hard in the match and until the 45th minute in the second half, it looked a draw. An opposition player battled through the Stanway defence to somewhat flukeily score past Owen, who was having a great game.

The goal affected the Stanway players in a positive way, as chance after chance came by, with the opposition wishing for the final whistle to come.

Unfortunately the determination of the lads didn't pay off, but this game is a sign of good things to come this season.
